Fullgaze Race 21.03.21
Nina Benz shines with 4th place
In the strongly occupied starter field Nina Benz sets herself vehemently in scene
The 1st run of the Bundesliga took place in Obergessertshausen in very nasty conditions.
A big thank you to the organizers around and with Anton Sieber!
In these uncertain Corona times, where the policy changes the rules of the game felt daily to carry out a race, testifies to great passion for our sport!

On Saturday, a short race took place in the picturesque town of Krumbach. Unfortunately we were a bit unlucky, because Nina and Jacqueline got a flat tire on the bottom step of the stairs.
Sophie finished the race in 10th place.

On Sunday at (brrrrr.....) low temperatures our junior Finn Treudler started first. He did this quite ambitiously. A place on the podium was the goal.
Unfortunately, after a very good start, nothing came of it. Unfortunately, he collided with a street post, the rear wheel had become independent on the slippery ground.
This caused the brake lever to shift and he had to make a stop in the tech zone. Finn lost some focus, we were able to motivate him from the track and he fought his way back to 12th final place!

The ladies had felt 0.5 C less cold...... This wa r but the ground became even deeper. Have a look at the pictures in the gallery...
Nina started well followed by Jacqueline, Sophie and Ramona.
It soon became clear that Nina was the strongest of our riders that day.
Jacqueline also had a good day.
Nina soon established herself in the group for place 3-5 at the end the final fight with Anne Tauber for third place took place. Nina finished the race super happy on rank 4. at least she clearly distanced the world champion.
jacqueline found a good rythm and finished the race satisfied on 11th place.
Sophie reported after the race; "it was not my day at all" also we noticed very fast in the morning that Sophei was a little bit beside herself. Ramona found; " it was too sticky-"

Then in light snowfall we still had Simon at the start.
He was really motivated even in these conditions. He started well and was in 10th place for the first half of the race. Then he lost every lap, had a fall in the slippery meadow downhill, so that his direct competitors could catch him.
17th place was it in the end.
♥♥♥
It was nice to meet our riders again on the race course.
....and believe us we are looking forward to warmer conditions :)
