3rd place for Finn Treudler in UCI Junior Series race
Haiming welcomed us with good conditions.
Dry it was and stayed. The track was excellently prepared.

On Saturday at 15.00 the starting signal was given for Finn Treudler. That he is recovered from his colds showed immediately. He had a great start and was in the leading group from the beginning. The later winner Van Dijik soon pulled away, but behind him an exciting duel developed between Finn and Lars Aebersold, constant lead changes and attack attempts alternated. At the last climb Finn had to get off his bike and lost the connection to Nils. Only 5 seconds separated him from 2nd place.
Finn has shown a great race! For this he deserves our respect!
Congratulations to this strong 3rd place!!!

On Sunday 12.30 pm the women elite and U23 riders started in the same race.
Ramona Forchini started well, she could work her way up to rank 18, and then the mishap- In the "Freefall" she got caught on the rope. Luckily she didn't fall all the way down. In any case, she hit her knee and was otherwise quite upset. So we saw it quite clearly in the following team zone, Ramona had to sort and find back into the race. That ended up in 29th place.

Nina Benz started from the midfield, got stuck there a bit, but then it went really fast to the front! The last lap the Nina Express ran tremendously.
Great 16th place was the reward.
Jacqueline Schneebeli loves to race, you can see she is improving all the time.
With place 28. she is satisfied so far. What she immediately analyzed; in the U23 riders she was in fourth place. That gives hope.

Kim Ames said " I set the cruise control". She found the 6 laps in Haiming very hard (who doesn't?) The root carpet constantly demands movement from the riders. The climbs on the same are energy sapping.
Kim ended up in 37th place and is happier with herself than she was in Nals.

Annika Liehner our youngest in the field started on position 49 and of course she got caught in the traffic jam again. However, she did not let herself be distracted, she was able to find her rhythm. She was already doing better than in Nals. But it is not yet her usual performance, she says.


14.45 Start signal for Frazer Clacherty
He was already the whole week in Haiming and therefore acclimatized on his favorite track. Frazer started the race with bib number 46.
He worked his way forward successively. He also mastered the difficult sections. The last fast lap brought him up to 31st place.

Our team manager Joe Broder and mechanic Joana Schönthal & Stefan Treudler were again very well prepared for the race in Haiming!
And we can proudly announce: no problems, no defects with the material !!!!

Unfortunately the HC race in Heubach was cancelled.

So we are looking confidently to the first race of the PROFFIX Swiss Bike Cup in Leukerbad in two weeks.
