The award ceremony was already over, but she was shining like the Italian sun.
She was laughing „I can’t believe it “, after her best Swiss Bike Cup result.

Forchini haven’t been scared about some big names, standing next to her, on the start line.

After the start climb she was fighting for the first position with Jolanda Neff and managed to take the lead in the first downhill and made a gap of 3 / 4 seconds to the competitors.

But it wasn’t just a quick move at the front.
However, Jolanda Neff showed her strength and took the lead till she had to fight with a technical problem.
So, Ramona Forchini was fighting with Alessandra Keller for the second position right after Jolanda.
The 10th placed Rider from the Stellenbosch World cup, Alessandra, repeatedly gave Ramona some seconds, but she came back several times.
Just in the second last lap the gap got too big to close again.

The fact, that she could hold this race speed, for nearly the whole races, showed the high level. Some bigger names like U-23 world champion Sina Frei and the winner of the London Olympics, Julie Bresset got beaten from Forchini.

With the race going on Lisi Osl came stronger every lap and finally move from 10th to 7th place. (+3:24).
The youngest girl, racing the elite women category, from our team, Lara Krähemann, had to pay tribute to the distance. In the last laps the power was gone an she lost the uci points position and ended the competition on a 18th place. (+11:14)

Till the fifth of seven laps Max was riding on position 8. „the last two laps have been really hard for me “so Foidl, riding the first-year elite, moving up from U-23 category.

In the end he lost 2 spots and finished his race on 10th position with a 2:41 minutes gap to the French winner Titouan Carod (1:31:07)

„There’s still some work to do, but with position 10 I reached my personal goal “.
The swiss competitions are always world class, that’s why I’m satisfied.
 

Fabio Püntener, first year U23 category rider, showed a great race.
With a final11th place he lost 4:44 minutes to the French winner Daniel Thibaut (1:20:55) and managed to be classified as the sixth best swiss rider.
Just 6 seconds behind Fabio, Casey South took the 12. Place. Jorin Gabriel finished on 24th. (8:31), Nico Eichenberger got overlapped.
