HC Race Banyoles
Good end of the two weeks training camp
The jb Brunex Superior Factory Racing Team rode another race at the end of the two weeks in the training camp in Banyoles. Thereby our riders could again show good performances despite very difficult conditions and a lot of dust.
Outstanding was the performance of Anina Hutter. Our youngster rode away from everyone in the U19 race and won for the first time in an U19 race with a bearish performance. "I had a good start and was able to ride directly in the leading group. After that I snaked my way out among the U23 riders and was able to extend my lead. I am very happy," said Anina. Simona Spesna finished seventh in the same category.
Jacqueline Schneebeli also rode to the front in the U23 category. She was second best U23 rider in the race, which was judged together with the elite, and overall, she was second best jb rider in 14th place behind Ramona Forchini, who finished 10th. Kim Ames was 18th. A bit disappointed with her performance was Sophie von Berswordt. She finished 20th. "After two weeks of training I guess I wasn't too fresh and couldn't take the good feeling from Chelva with me."
In the men's race, the jb riders had to fight hard. Tomer Salzman was the best classified in 36th place, Gregor Raggl raced right behind. Charly Markt was 61st, Finn Treudler 66th, which was enough for 16th place in the U23. Team manager Joe Broder is satisfied with the two weeks in Spain. "It was a good training camp, and we could make a lot of progress."
Now there is a few days break for the jb riders before it continues with the next races.
