thomas litscher squeezed every single bit of a energy out of himself. after the finishline, the 29 year old swiss men was shacking and couldn’t talk for minutes. a stiff back was just a little problem in his race. the days before and at the race day, he was suffering with a stomach problem, couldn’t drink and eat as normal, which was the real problem. totally dehydrated and exhausted as never before, but the suffering payed off!
Even, middle of the race, when he had to leave the top 8 roll away, he kept fighting for each position and was fighting for his goal the top 10. in the end he finished on a solid 12th place just 26seconds behind place 10.

At least he‘s been the 3rd swiss guy, that’s a good sign for the qualifying for the worldchampionships coming september.
The girls: best career result for ramona forchini
After the womens race there were 2 smiling faces in the jb brunex felt tricot. Ramona forchini took her best worldcup result in her jung career so far and this after a bad infect, which took her 2 weeks the get rid off. „i couldn’t tell anyone how i’ll ride today“ she haven’t done any high altitude camp before, did say the u23 worldchamp from 2015 (andorra), „but everything worked well“
Middle of the race forchini was riding towards 12th place, but then she was struggeling a litte bit with the (NO AIR), but kept fighting an finished on a good 14th place.

Actually andorra should have been my highlight of the season, because last year it was my best weltcup result in the high altitude. But i’m happy how it worked and thankful to start racing with a top 20 result.
