Another victory for Katrin Emabacher

The spring classics are in full swing and this weekend the main riders of our team have been at the well known and also very popular race in Nals.
In between apple plantations and nice nord italian flair we’ve been racing in three different categories.

The junior women had to do 1 startloop and 3 laps. Our Austrian National Champ Katrin showed once again a strong performance and won the race. In the international field she was the strongest and could distance the girl which got 2nd in the end in the final lap.
Our elite women Ramona and Virag had 2 more laps to do. Finishing 11th Ramona missed the Top 10 by only 1 spot. From the start on she didn’t have the best legs and had to struggle a bit. But she is already looking forward to a weekend without races and then being back fully recharged the weekend after. Virag came 13th.

In the men’s field we had Tomer, Gregor and Charly. Sadly Tomer lost some time due to a mechanical. He came 26th in the end and was apart from the bad luck very happy with his performance and feeling on the bike while Gregor finished 18th and Charly 20th. Charly had a bad start where he lost some spots but then he had a good speed and could move forward.The guys are already looking forward to their home race in Haiming in the middle of April.

While there’ve been dry conditions in Italy, Simona had extremely hard conditions to battle through. It was so wet and muddy that you hardly couldn’t ride. Most of the time they had to carry the bike because it was just not able to ride. It was definitely a hard test for material and rider. Simona gave her best and finished the race on position 15th.
